Márton is currently pursuing his Master's degree in my lab at JYU after having joined the lab as a research assistant. He is measuring how plastic are fungal networks across species and within genotypes by establishing reaction norm experiments in the lab.

Ville obtained his master's degree at JYU and is currently pursuing his PhD under my supervision after having joined the lab as a research assistant. He is currently determining the extent by which genotypic trait diversity of fungal networks influence the soil carbon pools in mesocosms. His work is based on the fully sequenced fungus Neurospora crassa  as it allows inference of the genetic markers behind such effects.
